RPG Superstar Update: the Final Four
Paizo’s RPG Superstar design contest is winding its way to the conclusion, and now the field has been narrowed to four. Competitors had to design a villain lair to be rated by the celebrity judges. The lairs are cool enough that you can steal them for your own 3.5 D&D campaign.
What’s a villain without a lair? The top four RPG Superstar entries feature a theater, a cavern built around a shattered colossus, a house inhabited by a creepy skin grafter known as the Flesh Peddler, and a twisted carnival. They all have maps (some quite elaborate), stat blocks and other relevant DM information, so even if they don’t win the contest, you can use these weirds encounters on your unsuspecting players.
But what if they do win the contest? Well, the top four now have to submit a full adventure proposal. One winner will see his adventure published by Paizo later this year or next year. Now, head over to Paizo to read all the entries.
Oh, the celebrity judge for this last round? Just some guy named Monte Cook.
