It's pretty much a slightly dimpled sphere, not unlike an oversized golf ball. To prevent it from rolling forever, it's filled with some sort of braking agent inside, so it usually only rolls half a table length. It's actually pretty handy for Dark Heresy or Call of Cthulu, provided you give it enough room to spin... I actually have one of the aforementioned d100s.
