Preview number four, Ant Queen. She’s very big, very green and is going to be very annoying to play against.

Ok, I’m going to be totally honest: this is the only preview card I’m not super enthusiastic about. Just not a fan of token creature generators. The giant ant thing totally fits both the overall green theme (nature, big creatures), and the Magic 2010 theme of designing cards around easily identifiable fantasy archetypes. Giant bugs are easy to get your head around. With green’s ability to spew mana through a firehose, this card is going to ruin many a picnic.

I’ve got just one thing to say. Terror. Kills bugs dead.” A Final Revels will come in handy too.

I don’t want to tap my 5/5 for a 1/1. I’d probably just punch face with it in limited, not sure I’d play it in constructed, and I haven’t a competetive bone in my body.

Ah, but you don’t tap this one. As long as you’ve got the mana, you’ve got as many ant tokens you want *and* you can swing with it.

Erm…unless they changed that aspect of the game too…

No, I just read the tree as a tap. this is a better card now.
