Captain Starling FTW! He’s actually a lot like a character I made up for a Mutants and Masterminds game, Mister Monad, Master of Time and Space (a time traveling and teleporting immortal descendant of Gotfreid Leibnitz). There is something wonderfully fun about playing Eduardian\Victorian Anachronisms.

Best of luck to the three candidates! Seriously, I wish I’d taken a cue from you guys, and come up with something less conventional. The whole idea was working with the freedom this system gives you, and all three did that well.
