Community Cup MD5 Draft Underway

June 9th, 2010 by Ed Grabianowski

The Community Cup challenge is happening! Here’s how to follow along.

Both teams are currently building their decks after an intense MD5 draft. Groffskithurs were high picks, of course. Ok, no. In this format, Shatter is usually the first pick of any pack it appears in.

Over at the Wizards’ site, you can follow along all the various Twitter feeds updating about the event, as well as checking out the current overall score. The Robot Viking feed is here (I won’t flood, but there might be a few Tweets per hour for the next little while). Still having photo issues, but that should be resolved soon.

We also get a tour of Wizards HQ this morning. We got a glimpse of Scars of Mirrodin art and some unused Planechase art (Aaron Forsythe told me they plan to revisit Planechase in the future at some point). I’m working on digging up some inside info on new D&D releases, and hopefully some news on Gamma World.

I have a sudden urge to make a groffskithur deck now. This is going to be the worst deck ever made.
