Wizards of the Coast HQ Tour Gallery

June 9th, 2010 by Ed Grabianowski

Ever wonder what it looks like inside Wizards of the Coast HQ? You must have imagined that the place where they make Magic and D&D is pretty awesome. You’re pretty much correct.

The Wizards’ office is like any other office building: employee gym, cafeteria, receptionist. Except it’s infinitely awesomer. For example, the meeting rooms have names like “The Dragon’s Den,” “Helm’s Deep” and “The Abyss.” The whole place is covered with amazing artwork pulled from various Wizards’ products (Brady Dommermuth observed that they more or less single-handedly drive the fantasy art industry).

In the gallery below you’ll see the infamous reception dragon, some cool art, cubicles where games are designed, some of the many awards Wizards has won, and a lot more. You won’t find any spoilers of in-development products — we did get to tour Magic R&D, but all the desks were suspiciously clean.

    SO MANY BOARD GAMES!

I love all the statues, I want a giant Shivan Dragon to hang in my entryway.
