Introducing the Brazer Bulletin by Dale McCoy

March 16th, 2011 by Ed Grabianowski

I’m happy to introduce a brand new regular column here at Robot Viking, the Brazer Bulletin by Jon Brazer Enterprises publisher Dale McCoy. He’ll be giving you an interesting look at life as an independent game publisher.

I’ll let Dale introduce himself:

In case you don’t know me, my name is Dale McCoy. I run a small role playing publishing company called Jon Brazer Enterprises. Mostly I’m just an average guy with a day job and a girlfriend and a weekly Pathfinder game that I GM. When I am not doing those, I write, publish and promote my company and our books. Before then I was a freelance writer. I’ve written for d20 fantasy, several small stand-alone games and some Pathfinder material. I’ve GMed games from Exalted to Mongoose Traveller, Toon, Robotech, Star Wars and of course Pathfinder. In my column I’m going to be giving you a look behind the curtain at publishing in a small press game company.

Allow me to just add a brief disclaimer: Dale will be talking about a wide range of things in the gaming industry in his weekly column, and he’ll also be promoting some Jon Brazer Enterprises products. These things do not necessarily reflect any endorsement on the part of myself or Robot Viking (although, actually, those Traveller books look pretty cool!).

Vikings, please join me in giving Dale a hearty welcome.
