Miniature of the Week — Pulp Sci-Fi and Modern Horror from Lead Bones
July 19th, 2011 by Ed Grabianowski
Recreational Conflict is an online retailer selling minis from a variety of smaller miniature producers, but they also make their own line of minis called Lead Bones. I think everyone could use a Crate O’ Zombies.
Lead Bones has some difficult to find minis — modern zombies are oddly rare, and when was the last time you saw a modern werewolf mini? These are a must-have for your modern horror RPG. The sci-fi stuff is great, too. I love the steampunky hardsuit.
You can head to the company’s site to see more of their work and order some minis. They work with resin and metal, and the prices seem very reasonable.

Some of the vehicles on their site would be awesome in Project: Death Race.

I think it’s a complete pain in the ass to find modern and low Sci-Fi minis. I’m running Shadowrun with a combination of Star Wars, 40k Orks, legos, and Digimon. Also, the Team SUV is a Triceratops.
