Dan Henk Unveils First Novel, Black Seas of Infinity
Dan Henk is an illustrator, painter and renowned tattoo artist. He recently unleashed upon the world his first novel, Black Seas of Infinity, a pulp adventure of conspiracy theories and horrific entities from beyond.
I haven’t had a chance to read Black Seas of Infinity yet (seems like a good way to test out my wife’s Kindle for book reading). It’s got a great title and a killer cover, though, so it’s worth a look. Amazon has both Kindle and printed versions available. Also, take a short detour and read Dan’s bio, either at his Goodreads page or on his official site. It’s not often I read an author’s bio that I would describe as harrowing, but it is. If Black Seas is half as intense as Dan’s life story, it will be white knuckles all the way.
Dan’s connection to Robot Viking is that he illustrated my story, “Extraneus Invokat,” in issue 21 of British horror magazine Black Static. As it happens, that issue only recently became available as an ebook, available at Smashwords. Because Black Static can be tough to find in bookstores, a lot of people have asked me since it came out if they could find it online, so there it is. Don’t just buy it for my story — it’s filled with excellent, twisted horror tales! Good company, to be sure.
